FUN DAY AT THE BEACH!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with long time friends Danny Caballero and Allan Alario. We picked up our bait at Campo’s on the way out and headed for Bay Eloie. It was a beautiful day, light wind, not much tide early but when the tide picked up the fish turned on. We limited out catching 75 pretty trout. All the fish were caught on live shrimp and a popping cork. Capt Jackamo also limited out in Eloie today. We have openings and will put you on your next fishing adventure. FUN DAY AT THE BEACH!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with some good guys Johnathan his father Don, friends Shawn, Kevin and Eric. The wind was blowing pretty good this morning out the east. We also had a very high tide rising. Redfish day for sure. We fished the Biloxi Marsh starting in the Stump Lagoon area and went in further from there. We never got on the reds really good today but we caught a few on every stop. The were knocking the cork out the water and inhaling Campo's live shrimp. We limited out on reds catching 30. Along with 6 heads and 6 speckled trout. The marsh is in beautiful condition, the water is black and clear, and the fish come out golden in color. We had some rain around today but dodged it for the most part. The trout are outside, the reds are inside and winds are telling us which way to go. THE FISH DON'T CARE THEY ARE ALREADY WET!! Day # 2 for the Zachry Group was wet and windy. The good news is that we had high tide and pretty reds in the marsh. Capt. Jakomo fished with me today.  We each had 4 anglers in our boats. We fished the Biloxi Marsh with Campo's live shrimp. Capt Jakamos group won the most fish and big trout bet. We won the big red fish bet. Jakamos group had 22 reds, 12 trout, 1 drum and a flounder. In my boat we had 18 reds, 9 trout, 2 drum and 1 sheepshead. We had another good day fishing with tough conditions. The marsyh is in great shape. We usually do not start fishing the marsh till mid sept. The plan B has been good for the last three days. The group was a lot of fun to fish with and cut up all day on both boats. For charter information call 504-881-9966.

GOOD DAY WITH ZACHRY CONSTRUCTION!! The weather today was a complete mess. With the 30% rain forecast we had rain everywhere all day along with wind. we picked the guys up at John Miremont’s  and we headed toward the Bay. Capt Rory and I thought about going in the marsh for reds but we had a window of opportunity so we took the shot.  To make a long story short we ended up in the Biloxi Marsh fishing reds. The reds were active and literally knocking the cork out the water.  We had one 5 pd red come a foot out the water when he took the bait.  It looked like a bass. Capt Rory and I ended the day with 35 reds, 27 trout, some heads, puppy drum and flounder. Looked like a fall box of fish. The reds have a golden color. All the fish were caught on campos live shrimp.  Check out the pictures and see the kind of day we had today. WINDY DAY @ THE BEACH!!!!! The good news the water was high and rising. Canceled my trout trip this morning. My brother Harry and Eric had come down and we went to fish reds. We started off in the stump lagoon area. We had a good day catching our limit in 2 hours. Live or dead shrimp was the ticket today. I usually do not get into this kind of stuff.  First off if Johnny says there is a fish kill there is one. The point in fact is we do not know what caused it. My guys have been fishing bay Eloi Lake Fortuna Breton sound and black bay the last month and all summer. We have not seen any oil or dead fish any where. Second point once they put the rocks in the Mr. Go it did what it was supposed too. They took the rocks from the only island they ever built by mistake and put them in the wrong place. That being said the rocks in my opinion saved the oil from coming right at us. We use to have a huge tide in the ship channel. Know it is cut way down. This means you do not have the tidal flow you use to have, The marinas are having a hard time living the live shrimp. This is in my opinion is because of the slow tidal flow.  When you have a west wind for days which we have had along with a low tide it also pulls poison out of the marsh and depletes the oxygen in the water. The water smells rotten and you have a lot of dead fish. I have a bait trap on my dock with a pump that picks the water up from 5 feet and the bait die when the water gets rotten. Let the scientist decide what killed the fish and about the tar balls.  We have fished the whole summer and have caught a bunch of fish.  We have seen no oil. I think and this is my opinion the loop current along with the rocks in the channel is what saved shell beach Hopedale and the island.  If the oil did not hardly get the barrier islands 20 miles out in the sound with few birds and no big fish kills, how can it get one area on the inside the marsh???????  As I said lets report what we see and let the scientist make the determination.

BREEZY AT THE BEACH!! Did anyone fishing today see a West wind 5-10 mph in SE Louisiana? Capt Jacomo and myself fished today. Jacomo had the Jimmy Woods group that stayed over an extra day. The wind was blowing a steady 15 by the time we got out. It picked up to 20 quich. We made a few moves and got on a good trout bite. I had the pleasure of fishing today with Bancroft his partner Steve, friends Mike and Frank. These guys usually fish with me a good bit in the summer but this was their first trip this year. Luckily we got on a good trout bite ending the day with 84 speckled trout. Jacomo had 65 and 1 red with his crew. Both groups went home with gallon bags full of fresh Louisiana speckled trout. The wind looks like it will lay down this week. I have openings and the fish are eating up in just about any conditions. Give us a call if you want to get in on a good bite.

CAPT JACAMO DOES IT AGAIN!! Jacamo had the hot hand today fishing the Jimmy Woods group. The guys caught their limit of trout and big reds. Fishing Campo’s live shrimp they ended the day with 79 speckled trout and 4 reds. Capt Rory and I ran the Zachry group for the 2nd day. The guys had to be back at John Miremont’s palatial estate in beautiful Fort Beauregard for 11:30 am. I do not like this kind of day because it only gives you about 3 hours to fish. In my boat I had the pleasure of fishing with Steve, Bruce and Keith. Great guys that know how to fish and have a good time. We ended the day with 55 speckled trout. Capt Rory’s group of 3 anglers had 60 trout this morning. Not a bad morning for the amount of time we fished. We have openings this week if anyone wants to wet a line. Conditions look good and we are on a good trout bite.

FUN DAY @ THE BEACH!!!!!!! We had three boats fishing today. Capt Rory and I ran the Zachry group. We picked the up in Fort Beauregard. Capt jacamo fished with Jimmy Woods’s group of three anglers. Jacamo got on a decent bite this morning.. I started off slow. It’s not how you start its how you finish. I had 4 anglers and we got on a goooood bite in the bay. We put 125 trout in the boat fast. Called Jacamo and Rory over. Jacamo also limited out catching 100 speckled trout 3 reds and1 head. Jimmy comes down a few times a year. They are staying an extra day with the catch they had today. . They are fishing Saturday and Sunday. Capt Rory had three anglers in his boat. great for next week. We have some openings if you want to get in on the action. Sept He ended the day with 70 trout 1 red and 1 head. All fish caught on Campos live shrimp and a cork. Fishing is heating up. The weather looks next week. We have some openings. Sept Oct Nov are great months to fish. Give us a call and we will put you on the fish.!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHELL BEACH REPORT!!!!! Here are some more pictures of the fish we caught in the past few weeks. Once the weather gets out of here it should get right for fishing in south east La. We have had very little pressure on the fish and shrimp. I look for it to really turn on. Support your local marinas and guides. They really appreciate the business.

BREEZY AT THE BEACH!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with good friend Doug Roll and his good friend Jeff from Ohio. Doug had been telling him about the fishing at the beach and he finally got him down here to show him. Started off this morning with the wind 15 out the NW, the tide was high falling hard. We put 20 fish in the boat quick fishing dead man’s island. When that stopped we went toward the channel and got on another good trout bite. We ended the day with a pretty box of fish. The guys limited out catching 75 speckled trout along with 1 twelve pd red that Jeff caught. All the fish were caught on Campo’s live shrimp some on a cork some tight lined. Capt Rory fished with me today. He fished with the Carol Smallwood group. They ended the day with 43 trout, 1 red and 2 heads. I called Rory when I got on the bite but by the time he made it over they had slowed down. The West wind makes it had to fish sometime. Looks like we are going to be shut down by the weather for the next few days. The bite will be good once we get the low out of here again. Can you believe???

GOOD DAY AT THE BEACH!!! We had 3 boats fishing today. We had a good day catching a total of 289 trout between the 3 boats. Rory had the hot hand with 112 fishing with Michele and Jimmy and 2 of their friends. Jacamo had Charlie, Richard, and Ken. The group came in from MS and it was Richard’s first time fishing. They had 83 speckled trout and Richard caught a 38 lb redfish that he is going to put on the wall. Third boat had 93 trout and 1 sheepshead. George Ackel, Craig and Mark put a nice box of fish together. Some of them were caught on Campo’s live shrimp and a cork others caught tight lining on the bottom. Fishing is going to get better Aug and Sept. We have openings so give us a call and get on the books. We are running 3 boats tomorrow and will put a report on. I have a bunch of pictures in the camera but am having trouble getting them out. I will try something new later today. For charter info call 504-881-9966

GOOD DAY @ THE BEACH!!!!!! Captain Jackamo and first Mate Jerry had a good day at the beach. The guys had a few hours this morning before the wind and rain and put them to good use. They had the pleasure of fishing with Devin his dad and Karl. They fished bay eloi with Campos live shrimp. The guys had 66 speckled trout 4 drum and a flounder for the day. They made a few stops in Bay Eloie and got on a few trout bites. The guys limited out catching 100 pretty speckled trout. All the fish were caught on Campo’s live shrimp some on a cork and some tight lined. I am behind on the pictures but I will put them on as soon as I can. Fishing is heating up in August. SHELL BEACH REPORT!! Capt Rory and Capt Jacamo fished with the Zachry Group today. They picked them up at John Miremont’s lodge in beautiful Fort Beauregard.  They picked up their bait on the way out at Campo’s Marina. They guys went straight for Bay Eloie.  They made a few moves and got on a decent trout bite and ended they day with 112 speckled trout and a few reds and heads. They guys had 6 bags of filets and are back at it tomorrow. Russell Moffatt fished out of his own boat while staying at the lodge. The 2 anglers had 42 speckled trout and my brother had 44. The fish are out there and the weather is beautiful.  For those of you going tomorrow bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and plenty water. SHELL BEACH REPORT!!! Capt Rory had the pleasure of fishing today with the Mike Walker group. The guys drove in last night from N. LA and spent the night at the beach. They got an early start this morning and it was a beautiful morning to fish. They got on a trout bite early and they had a few fish around but with too many throwbacks in them. They made a few moves in Eloie and got on another decent trout bite. It got hot and the group ended the day catching their limit of 50 plus Capt Rory added another 10. All the fish were caught on Campo’s live shrimp and a popping cork. We have 2 boats fishing tomorrow and will post a report. For charter information call 504-881-9966. FUN DAY AT THE BEACH!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with good friend Glen Clemments, his significant other Queen Paula and her children Brian, Casey and his friend Matt. We stopped at Campo’s on the way out and picked up their famous shrimp, the ones that catch fish without trying. Today they caught fish. It was first time the kids fished with me but they caught on quick. We got on a decent trout bite this morning not fast but steady. We were catching they 3 ft under a popping cork or free lined with a light split shot. We put 40 in the boat quick and then they shut down. Made a couple of moves, got on another bite. We ended the day with 60 trout, 3 sheepshead 1 drum and 1 flounder. Really enjoyed fishing with the kids today. The wind was out thye NW and a lot more then they predicted again. SHELL BEACH REPORT!!!  Capt Rory fished yesterday with Barry Rester and his grandson Jonathan.  They had a good day catching their limit of 50 speckled trout along with a few reds, heads, puppy drum and flounder. A cajun grand slam for sure. Today we had 4 boats fishing. Capt Rory and Capt. Ron had the hot hand. Rory had 50 trout, a few drum and sheepshead.  Capt Ron had 30 trout, 10 sheepshead, 4 flounder and a red. I have pictures and will get them on tomorrow. Capt Mark and I had a real slow day. Our group from Japan arrived at 7 am and we got a late start. They guys had a bunch of fish in their boat when we got out. We had a translation problem it was difficult for us to teach them how to fish.  It got hot for them and we ended the day with 3 drum, a sheepshead, 1 flounder and 1 red. I look for the fishing to get really good in August. The fish have very little pressure and nobody is trawling for shrimp at the present time. With the conditions today low tide strong NW wind, I think it is going to be tough tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will settle down and we can get back to what we love to do. In the 100 days since the oil spill. A reaserch team  had charterd me to drive them around the area for a total of 7 days in 2 weeks.  We have fished or tried to fish all summer. We had a good summer going untill they would shut the fishing and bait down again. We will take work any way we can get it. I am glad to see the fisherman get paid to work. Would have liked to get on but we are doing what we love to do.  With all the cancellations we could use the business. Charter info 504-881-9966

SHELL BEACH REPORT!!!!! I have been having computer problems and have not put on reports. Any one who’s e mail is kicked back please call me 504-881-9966. We shut down for the storm. We dodged the bullet on that one THANK GOD.. We have been fishing all summer The live shrimp has been the key for sure. Campos has live shrimp again and that always helps. We have averaged 50-100 trout per day along with on some days a few reds heads and puppy drum. Some day’s limits others decent catches.  For Charter info 504-881-9966. SHELL BEACH REPORT!!!!!!! Capt Rory had the pleasure of fishing with George Rodney AJ and Tom.  Rory said every thing looked real good thi9s morning but blew up on them fast. They danced around the wind and squalls having a good day. They ended the day with 40 speckled trout 10 reds 4 heads and 3 puppy drum. SHELL BEACH REPORT!! Sorry about the late report but I have been very busy at the beach. Capt Rory fished with me Saturday with the Logan/Smith group of 3 anglers. They fished hard catching 12 reds, 3 puppy drum and a few heads. The wind had picked up and made fishing conditions hard the later it got.  On Sunday Capt Ron fished with Doug and Group and Capt Rory fished Allen Alario, Danny Caballero and Spike. Capt Ron had a decent day catching 40 trout, 2 reds and some heads.  Capt Rory's group got caught in a couple of wrecks on their way to the lodge and were late arriving.  They couldn't get any live shrimp. They picked up some croakers in Breton Sound Marina but the fish are eating up shrimp right now. They ended the day with 12 trout and 3 puppy drum. On Monday Capt Ron fished with Willie Joseph and his wife out of Baton Rouge.  They had a real good day limiting out catching 75 trout, 6 reds and 10 heads.  The trout are out there.  Live shrimp is a big big help. Fishing the rest of the week and will post reports.

BREEZY AT THE BEACH!! Planned on going out into the Bay and fish speckled trout this morning. When I hit the open water I went straight to plan B. Had the pleasure of fishing today Art, Jose, and Al. Al is in town from Boston and the rest is history. My first mate Jerry also jumped on. We got on a good fish bite this morning fishing reds and puppy drum. They started to mount up quick and before you knew it we limited out on puppy drum catching 25 along with 12 reds. All the fish were caught on popping cork and dead shrimp. Al and Jose had little fishing knowledge but caught on fast. Check the pictures out below and give us a call. We are on a good fish bite and everywhere we fish is wide open. Yesterday we had 4 boats fish. Capt Rory, Ronnie, Ricky and myself took out the big Donna LeBlanc group from all over the world. They showed up at 7 am in a big motor coach ready to go. We had big rain squalls everywhere but still got out. The 4 boats combined had about 20 trout, 3 flounders, 25 reds, 15 drum and a few heads. They had to be back at the lodge for noon so we didn’t have much time to fish. Everybody had a good time and as soon as we got back to the lodge they jumped in the bus and headed back to the French Quarter.

SHELL BEACH REPORT!! We are still in business and have been on a good speckled trout bite all summer. The Wildlife has opened up every area that we fish again. Live shrimp is available and we have openings. Running 4 boats tomorrow. We have openings this weekend and next week. Fishing should be outstanding as no pressure on the fish and shrimp everywhere. TOUGH DAY AT THE BEACH!!!!!! Woke up this morning to a 15 mph out the SW, dead low tide and very dirty water. Hated when that happens. Had the pleasure of fishing today with Sonny, Bobby, Richard, Bill. They came in last night and we got an early start this morning. We went out into the Black Bay, the water was beat up with 2-3 ft chop. That's why I was very surprised at the fish we caught today. We limited out on puppy drum catching 25, 2 reds and 6 heads. Filled the big box to the top. Talk about fun!! All the fish were caught on dead shrimp mostly on the bottom. Don't know where the wind came from today but it sure did throw me a curve ball. No matter what the conditions we have been catching fish everyday. Trout when we can get to them or reds, heads and puppy drum when the conditions are plan B. Capt Mark limited out on reds yesterday in the marsh off oak river. He had 15 reds and said any where they had moving water withno marsh grass they had reds. We have openings and are still fishing. We really appreciate your support and your business. And we are going to keep fishing as long as we can where ever we can. Providing it is productive for our clients.

STILL CATCHING @ THE BEACH!!!!!! We had a decent day fishing yesterday. Not sure of the numbers but we had trout reds heads and puppy drum. We got clobbered with rain in the afternoon. TODAY!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing with Mark his son Wesley and fishing partner Brandon. Mark called up and had been fishing Venice. He said he had an itch that needed to be scratched. We got on a decent trout bite early this morning. The guys put 60 in the boat. We had a few whites mixed in. We also had 3 puppy drum and 1 25 pound one we turned loose. The weather got nasty looking about 1 PM and we went for the house. A good group of guys and good fisherman. We have openings and are catching fish if any one wants to get after them.

GOOD DAY @ THE BEACH.!!!!!!!!! WE ARE STILL FISHING AND DOING WHAT WE LOVE. Take people fishing and putting them on fish. !!!!!!!Had the pleasure of fishing today with Doug and his girl friend Carol. Eric also jumped on for the day. Hadn’t fished in a few days but got on a good fish bite first thing this morning. Carol had very little experience so I had to cast for her. But that did stop her from catching her first red and 2 – 25 pd drum that we turned loose. Talk about fun. We also had 10 reds, 5 heads, 15 drum and 1 trout. The group had a blast and said they can’t wait to come back. I spoke to Capt Mark and he was fishing an hour before we started and he had 17 reds and a flounder. The weather got hot and his group called it a day at 17 reds. They said they had a ball and we really appreciate their support.

          SHELL BEACH REPORT!!  We ran three boats Monday. The wind was strong but we had decent catches. Capt Mark had 12 trout 6 reds some puppy drum and heads. Capt Rory limited out on reds aloing with some heads and puppy drum. . I had 5 reds 13 trout  4 drum and 5 heads. I never really got on them. The last 2 stops were the best in the mrgo. Capt Mark fished today with Capt Kerry.  Both boats limited out on redfish.  Fish were caught on dead shrimp in the Delecroix Island side. Hey were fishing the legal area off the twin pipeline. We love what we do and we will all try to fish as long as we can. They opened up Black Bay to Point fortune to the double rig line off California Point.  We have 2 boats fishing tomorrow and will let you know how we do.  Charter info 504-887-4960

SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE. When we left the dock this morning in the dark it looked like it was going to be another pretty day. By the time we got to the back levy canal we got hit hard with heavy rain and lots of wind. Captains Rory, Mark, Ronnie, Ricky and I fished today. With all the weather we got on a trout bite early until the wind kicked up to 20 again. We from there we went to fish the Lee shoreline anywhere we could find them. Capt Mark and I ran the Matt Andrews group out of Lafayette. We had 7 anglers. Between us we had 50 trout, 17 reds, 15 heads, 8 flounder and a couple puppy drum. The guys hung in there and put a decent box of fish together with the conditions we had. Capt Rory limited out on reds with a bunch of heads and puppy drum. He also had 10 trout. Capt Ronnie had 35 trout. He also limited out catching 100 trout yesterday along with a couple of reds and a few heads.; Capt Rick had 25 speckled trout a good number of white trout 1 red and 8 flounder. The wind is howling down here right now. Tomorrow we will look at it in the morning. Give us a call and get on the books.

SPECIAL DAY @ THE BEAFCH!!!!! I want to give a shout out to Jerry Munro and his daughters grace age 13 and Lilly age 7. They had a great trip with Capt Jackamo today. They had  85 pretty trout and 6 heads. A great box of fish with the kids. Jerry could not say enough about how much fun they had fishing with their Captain and what a great job he did. BUSY @ THE BEACH.!!!!! Capt Rory Mark Ron Jakamo and myself fished today. I had Dr Norman Ott Bill and Richard. Norman has been fishing with me for 20 years and always great to have in the boat. Using Campos live shrimp Carolina rigged, we limited out on pretty speckled trout. The fish were 1-3 pounds and slamming the bait. We also had 5 sheepshead and 2 30 pound rum that we turned loose. Capt Mark also had his limit catching 100 trout a few heads and a red. Capt Rory also limited out fishing with the Zachry group. They had a few heads with their catch. I could not get Capt Ron on the radio. Capt Jakamo had 70 trout and was still catching. He had 2 adorable young girls and their dad. They were having a ball. It was a fishing trip they will remember for ever. A real good catch with the kids. We love to create memories for you guys and girls. We have a few openings next week and or on a good trout bite. WINDY AT THE BEACH!! Day #2 for the Bobby Hebert group was a windy day. The good news is we had a high tide rising. They had rain all around us all day but we only got hit one time in the morning in the dark. With the conditions we had our best shot was the rocks. Mark and I went for the rocks. We put a few fish in the boat early. It was a hunt and peck all day. My boat ended the day with 42 speckled trout, a few white trout and a big red won the big fish bet. Fish were caught on Campo's live shrimp and a popping cork.when I spoke with Capt Mark he had 35 speckled trout in the boat. Capt Rory and Capt Ricky also fished with me today. I will let you know how they did when they get back to the dock. We canceled out trip for tomorrow and will check the weather. It should straighten up for Friday. We will let you know if we fish.

Capt Mark ran the other half of the Bob Hebert group.  They limited out with 125 speckled trout.  Capt Rory went another way and ended the day with 70 trout, 10 heads and 1 red.  The weather got nasty and they headed for the house. CATCH EM UP IN ELOI!!!!!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing with the Bobby Hebert John Jack and Charlie in my boat. Group of 8 anglers 2 boats. Capt Mark and I ran their group. They are town for 2 days and we are cooking dinner for them tonight at my friends house. In my boat we had a 2 stop shop. Made 2 stops catching 125 pretty speckled trout. We caught them tight lined, Carolina rigged or 3 ft with a popping cork. Campo's live shrimp was the ticket again today. I talked to Capt Mark and he needed 20. Capt Rory also had a good bite going. SHELL BEACH REPORT!! Capt Mark and Capt Ron both had good days at the beach. Capt Mark fished the Jason Smith group.  Jason his wife and 2 daughters had a good day. They 70 trout and 10 sheepshead. Jason said he had a great time fishing with Capt Mark and will be back in the future. GOOD DAY @ THE OFFICE!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with Joey Mannino and his 8 year old twin sons Baldo and Walker. His friend Bobby also come along. We made 4 stops and got on 2 separate good trout bites. The guys total was 114 speckled trout and 8 sheepshead. Half the fish were caught on popping cork the other half tight lined on the bottom. We had non stop action day and the kids had a blast. The trout averaged 14 inches and up and they were slamming the bait today. In fact they pulled a pole overboard and 20 minutes later we got the pole back with the fish on it. Capt Mark and Capt Ronnie are fishing with me today. GOOD DAY @ THE BEACH We had a fun day fishing today. Capt Rory fished with Tom Judd and his sons Kevin and David. They fished Stone Island and the Betty rig in black bay. They had a fun day limiting out catching 100 speckled trout 1 red and a coupe of heads. We had 90 trout and 10 reds fishing with Jim and Michelle along with 3 friends from Indonesia. Talk about and adventure. All the fish were caught on Campos live shrimp. Every one that fished today could not say enough about how much fun they had. Check out the pictures and give us a call.

THREE STOP SHOP AT THE BEACH!! Had the pleasure of fishing with Steve, Dave and their better halves Donna and Donna. They came in from the Laplace area and we got an early start this morning. Three stops is all it took for them to catch their limit of 100 pretty speckled trout, 4 reds, 2 sheepshead and a flounder. A Cajun Grand Slam for sure. The girls didn't have much experience fishing speckled trout but after I worked with them a little while they were throwing fish in the boat like pro's. Capt rory fished with me today. He limited out on trout with 4 anglers. He will put a report on later with pictures. Fishing is about as good as it gets at Shell Beach. WET DAY AT THE BEACH! Capt Rory, Capt Mark and I fished today. Had the pleasure of fishing today with the Dana DeGeorge Dudley Chad and Ralph. These guys fish well and that always helps. . Picked them up at him home in Fort Beauregard. Rain everywhere. They had small craft warnings in the sound so we fished sheltered lee shore lines in Lake Fortuna. Plenty fish in the area with lots of throwbacks. We ended the day with 86 trout, most in the 12- 16 inch range. All the fish were caught on Campo's live shrimp and a popping cork. A fun group of guys to fish with and all good fishermen. Capt Rory fished with the Rod Walker group of 2 anglers. He had 50 trout when I talked to him on the radio. Capt Mark had a decent box going. Yesterday Capt Mark limited out with 100 pretty trout. Capt Rory had 75 good trout out of Breton Sound. We have openings and are on a good trout bite. We have overnight accommodations available. Fishing out of our boat or yours. We can hook you up with whatever you need.

FUN DAY WITH GOOD FRIENDS!!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with good friend Todd Holman, Doug Constantino, Sonny and David. The guys are all from Ocean Springs MS area. The guys staying at Doug's house in Proctors Landing. We got on 2 good bites today one of them first thing this morning. We put 50 good trout and a red in the boat quick. When that died out we went on the hunt. We picked up a few fish here and there but never got them going until the last stop. I tried a spot I haven't fished in a long time and the fish ate up. We ended the day with 106 trout and 1 red. It was a a great day of fishing with long time good friends of mine. Capt Rory and Capt Mark fished with me today. I will let you know how they did when they get back. We have some openings and the fish are eating good. Give us a call to get on the books.

Capt Rory ran a trip on me for father’s day. He said he had a decent day catching 50 trou5 reds and a few heads. He fished eloi Fortuna and black bay. He will get a detailed report on later, Yesterday  9 year old Connor O’Brien was the king redfish and trout king fisherman . He a great father’s day trip on the water fishing with his dad & grandfathers. Clyde  Kimball & Bobbie O’Brien. Way to go Conner.  We are all back at it tomorrow and will post a report. SHELL BEACH REPORT!! Capt Mark, Rory and I fished today. Capt Rory fished with the Bobby OBrien group. Mark and I fished with John Miremont group. We all a slow start this morning. We spread out in different directions. I got into a trout bite late in Bay Eloi. Couple of water spouts around, heavy rain and 20 mph wind. Left the fish biting and decided to make a move and get around it. Got on the backside of it and my motor went dead. I tried to pump the bulb but there was no pressure. Figured that someone had stolen my gas again and they did. Borrow 5 gallons from a guy in the vicinity and Mark brought me 10 from Breton Sound Marina and we made it back to the launch. We had over 110 trout a few reds and heads between the 3 boats. Mark had the best catch. This is the 3rd time that someone got gas out of my boat. I even had a lock on the cap. From now on I will fill up with gas in the morning when I buy bait. I suggest everyone check their gas before they go. I’ve talked to some other people that have had the same problem. It could be life threatening if you run out of gas in the wrong place. We are fishing all week and have some openings. The fishing is really good. For charter info call 504-881-9966 or 504-887-4960

FUN DAY AT THE BEACH!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with Chris, Jeff, Lawrence and his brother David. My brother Harry also jumped on with us. On the way out this morning they had light thunder and rain in the area, the wind was blowing 15 mph out the west. I didn’t like the looks of it and stopped on the way out to see what the weather was going to do. They was a good move, we put 60 trout in the boat fast. The wind layed down about 9 am and I headed out to the sound. We put 10 fish in the boat quick and they shut off like a light switch. With the weather building on the horizon we decided to head back to the leeshore line. When we were about a half mile out the temperature dropped about 10 degrees, the wind picked up to 20. After it blew over we got on another good trout bite catching their limit of 125 speckled trout. We also had 1 red, 10 heads and one 40 pd drum that we turned loose. The guys were a lot of fun to fish with. Good time at the office today. Capt Rory fished with me. He went out this morning and when I talked to him he said it was choppy and only had a few fish so he was heading to the area that I was fishing. He was on good trout bite when I talked to him. I will let you know how he did later. Give us a call and get on the books.
